Hello fellow pigs, it is I, Napoleon. In the past, animals on this farm have been beaten and enslaved by Jones and his men, but now we have taken over this farm and made it our own. Snowball, my fellow leader,  and I have been manipulating the animals on the farm in different ways to gain control. This is the era of the pigs. This is our time. We will rule!

 

The first harvest: a huge success, more successful than anyone expected. (pg.17) The other animals are so naive that they think we are all working together as a big happy family but we pigs know that we aren’t, we the pigs are working to gain more control. They didn’t even notice that we didn’t do any work during the harvest, all we did was direct and supervise.  

Snowball, my fellow leader, and I have been teaching the other animals how to read and write. (pg.20-21) All the animals think we are trying to teach them to get the same intelligence level as us pigs. All we are doing is manipulating them , they are only learning what we want them to know.

The Battle of the Cowshed might have been bloody but it was victorious. (pg.26-28) As we all know, Snowball was grazed by a bullet but he still stayed strong and fought for Animal Farm. Us pigs showed the rest of the farm that we are great leaders, we planned and plotted against humans and in the end we were victorious. The other animals now see that we are great leaders. We will rule this farm.  

So far, everything we, pigs, have done to gain control has been a huge success. The animals on the farm are very naive and don’t see what’s happening. In the future, we will continue to do more to gain control until we have full and utter control. I will continue to write these posts to update my fellow comrades on the progress of gaining control.
